CASA CUBUY ECOLODGE IS THE HIGHEST HOTEL BORDERING THE RAINFOREST RESERVE!

Enjoy the unique experience of staying in the El Yunque rainforest. From the ecolodge you can walk down trails leading to the Cubuy and Icacos Rivers. Easily walk able - through jungles of bamboo, palms and fern trees. Listen to the birds' songs. It is magical. The waters at this elevation are clean enough to drink! and refreshingly cool. Just above and below this pool are waterfalls you can hear from your bedroom at night. There are no poisonous snakes in this rainforest! Birds, lizards and tree frogs are what you will find here.

There is a well made path down to the waterfalls and pools and on into the forest. Breakfast room.

We are famous for our fabulous fresh fruit breakfast! Served at 9 AM each morning, all guests sit together at the lodge table. Enjoy meeting other guests and sharing your experiences. A well stocked honor bar in the common area provides you with assorted drinks and snacks. Picnic lunches can be ordered as well. Spend your days hiking in this gentle sub tropical rainforest or relaxing on the porch or on a warm rock basking in the sun. After a few days of total forest immersion you may wish to venture out on the panoramic routes, or go to Fajardo and snorkel in the daytime, kayak in the bio bay at night. The Ecolodge has 10 rooms and rates range from $110. to $125. a double plus 9% tax each extra person in the room is $25. We offer a handicap accessible room on the main floor. Please see the rates page for more information and our cancellation policy. Driving directions and maps.

We have Wifi, bring your laptop if you want internet access. No AC ( we are high enough to be nicely cool and AC would be redundant). We do not have TV. We are lucky to have the coqui, a small tree frog, which eats mosquito larvae and and gives us a mosquito free environment, you will not need bug spray here at Casa Cubuy. Our small gift shop offers T-shirts, jewelry and other incidentals.

The Villas Sierra Palms ( just down the road) offer a rental villa and other accommodations.
